This little quote really captures what I love about superman. Yeah there are darker, grittier, more interesting characters but there’s something incredibly uplifting about the way he treats the people around him. He believes in people, cares about people, and feels more pain when he sees others hurting than any physical wound could possibly inflict. That’s what makes a man of steel. Not his physical invulnerability, strength, or any one of his multitude of superpowers. His true strength, the strength at his core, is his strength of character.

Idk he’s just really a character about service and uplifting others and creating a world where people help each other and do things for good reasons and I just think that’s cool. That, and sometimes I just get a little sick of playboy antiheroes even though I love them at the same time…
